Greetings everyone!
My name is Joe Armenti, President and Co-founder of Cystic Fibrosis on Campus. It is with great pride and joy that I announce the arrival of our organization on the Muhlenberg College campus. With such a strong following from the students, there is no doubt that CF on Campus will grow to be a powerful force in the community of CF.
Cystic Fibrosis is a very near and dear cause to me because I have it. I know the trials and tribulations that children with CF must face, and I live the life that I want to make better for others. Multiple chest therapies a day, numerous aerosols, and enzymes with every meal are typical in the life of a child with CF. Hospital stays and doctor's appointments are also scattered throughout the calendar. This life style can be improved with enough time and money in the research field. That is where CF on Campus enters the picture.
When I arrived at college, I met someone who shared the same passion for the cause. Jordan Sones, Vice President and Co-founder of CFC, and I decided we needed to be a part of the battle against CF. We rallied support from the students and entered into the club recognition process. After lots of waiting, our dream became reality when we received a letter recognizing our place at Muhlenberg College.
Now, with a large student support, and ambitious goals, CF on Campus is taking off with a fury. We already have many amazing education and fundraising ideas, as well as great people to make them all happen. With support from those around us, CF on Campus can and will improve the lives of those with CF, with the ultimate goal of a cure. Together, we will lead the college crusade against CF.
Sincerely,

Joseph Armenti
